This statement of notifiable matters should be read in conjunction with Acacia Energy’s Privacy Policy. It provides information about the entities that we may disclose your credit information to as well as your rights in relation to your credit information.

This statement complies with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code (CR Code).

Acacia Energy maintains relationships with credit reporting bodies. It may disclose your credit information to these bodies as well as obtaining credit information and credit eligibility information from these bodies. This information will be used to assess your creditworthiness.

If you do not meet your payment obligations or commit a serious credit infringement, this information may be disclosed to a credit reporting body in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 and the CR Code.

You have a right to request of a credit reporting body that your information is not used for the purposes of pre-screening of direct marketing by a credit provider.

You have the right to request the credit reporting body not to use or disclose credit reporting information about you, if you believe on reasonable grounds that you have been, or are likely to be, a victim of fraud.
